  12.             Do you need something to do with that  collection of
  13.      National Geographics? Here are just a few  suggestions you might
  14.      consider.

  16.       1) Neatly stacked, they can be used as a step stool  to reach high
  17.          shelves. 
  18.  
  19.       2) When crumpled up, page by page, they can produce  interesting
  20.          color patterns when ignited in your  fireplace.   
  21.  
  22.       3) They are great for filling unused storage areas. 
  23.  
  24.       4) National Geographics can always be used as  'pretend inventory'
  25.          at your next garage sale!  
  26.  
  27.       5) Tightly stacked, National Geographics make  excellent boat
  28.          ballast. 
  29.  
  30.       6) National Geographics are an excellent source of  fiber for the
  31.          many one and two celled animals that may  reside in your attic.

  33.       7) In groups of ten or more, National Geographics are  great wheel
  34.          chocks when  needed to hold a car still  while fixing a flat tire.

  36.       8) After individually gluing the pages together, National 
  37.          Geographics make interesting bathroom floor tiles.

  39.       9) Strewn about your yard, National Geographics aid in
  40.          retarding weed growth and other forms of life requiring
  41.          sunlight.

  43.      10) Finally, you can use National Geographics to play
  44.          The National Geographics game.  To play, you and a friend 
  45.          race the clock to find one photo layout with the  correct 
  46.          caption displayed underneath it.

  49.              If you take the time, I'm sure you could find many  other
  50.      uses for National Geographics.  But please stop  making jokes about
  51.      how many you have and how you can't get rid of them.
